Comeback on the results of the RCT selected for this week end (February, 13th and 14th, 2010)
The under 20 French selection beat Ireland, 20 to 15 on the cleared of snow grass of Mazamet .
Romain Barthélémy, inside centre, and Mickaël Ivaldi, hooker, were the most solicited. Jérémy Sinzelle, on his side, and Gwendal Lamache, tight-head prop, were widely responsible of the Philippe Sella's team victory.
For the under 19, the South Africans were stronger because they won 5 to 10 in Blagnac.
Lucas Cazac (seconde row) entered the game at the 50th and Xavier Chiocci took place on the left side of the scrum at the half-time.
The "Universitaires" won their counterparts of the shamrock with a large victory 60 to 11 in Barbzeieux (near to Cognac...).
Jean-Charles Orioli was the representative of Toulon for the "U".
Jonny Wilkinson knew some failures (3 penalties succed on 6) with England in Roma against Italy. Martin Johnson's players still won 17 to 12 with 3 penalties and 1 dropkick from Wilko 5 minutes before the end.
Bad news for Scotland and Toulon because Rory Lamont lost 24 - 31 with his team against Wales and, most of all, hurt himself (ligaments). The RCT full-back - who played on the side - could be unavailable for several weeks...
Finally, the Georgians and Davit Kubriashvili hardly won Portugal in Lisbonne, 16 to 10.
